4-H Shooting Sports

4-H Shooting Sports uses firearm safety training and shooting activities to teach responsibility, sportsmanship and self-discipline. Members train with certified adult instructors in disciplines such as archery, air rifle, air pistol, smallbore, shotgun, muzzleloading and hunting skills.

Nationally, more than 300,000 young people take part, making 4-H one of the largest shooting education programs in the United States. New Mexico's program continues to grow every year.
