Gerry Copeland Adult Leader Scholarship
Gerry Copeland dedicated 30 years to New Mexico 4-H, continuing her service long after her own children graduated. Through committees, county 4-H ambassadors, and leader association activities, Gerry was passionate about helping volunteers develop the skills and confidence needed to positively impact 4-H youth.
Following her passing in 2018, Gerry’s family and friends established this scholarship in her memory to support the continued growth and development of New Mexico 4-H volunteer leaders.
One $20 scholarship is available to a volunteer from each county attending the NM 4-H Adult Retreat. Any individual may nominate a 4-H volunteer from their county to receive the scholarship. Nominees may be new or experienced volunteers who would benefit from the opportunity to attend the Adult Retreat and continue growing in their 4-H volunteer role. To nominate a deserving volunteer, complete the nomination form at the link below by October 25.

NM 4-H Adult Retreat: First-Timer Registration Scholarships
Attending the NM 4-H Adult Retreat for the first time? Eight $20 registration scholarships are available for first-time attendees.
To apply, submit your completed Adult Retreat registration, payment, and scholarship application. Selected recipients will receive scholarship funds following the retreat.

NM 4-H Leaders Association Apparel
Show your NM 4-H pride with apparel featuring the new NM 4-H Leaders Association logo. Retreat participants will have the opportunity to order a T-shirt, polo, or both. T-shirts are available for $20 each, and embroidered polos are available for $40 each. Order yours when you register and proudly represent the NM 4-H Leaders Association at meetings, events, and activities throughout the year.
Community Service
Dress for Success: Supporting the NMSU Career Closet -Help NMSU students put their best foot forward by supporting the NMSU Career Closet during the Adult Leaders Retreat. Participants are encouraged to donate clean, stylish, interview-appropriate professional clothing that students can wear to job interviews, career fairs, presentations, and other professional events. The Career Closet provides these items at no cost to students throughout the NMSU system. Your donation can help a student feel prepared, confident, and ready to pursue future educational and career opportunities.
